If ever we needed the drama button, it’s now.
So you didn’t expect EVERYTHING to be wrapped up in a neat little bow, did you? We’ve still got a few seasons to go! The mystery behind Parker’s family deepens, as new secrets and lies spill out of the Hero Business staff.
Thanks to EVERYONE who has stuck with the comic day one, as well as all the new fans who have caught up along the way.
In the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some fun bonuses as I finish up the “Season One” trade paperback and start work on Season Two. One small teaser: The Hero Business is heading to Comic Con!

Hmm. I’m curious— now that Parker’s secret is out, will she be doing her ‘underhandedness-for-good’ thing more openly? (Also, is it just me, or has her fashion sense started to take a teeny-tiny bit more after her mom?)
Parker can more openly be who she is. And who she is will be an interesting thing to explore!

I’m with Simon, more Hex Kitten and Morgan just cutting loose.
There’s some very cool stuff with Morgan / Hex Kitten in the works. Did you wonder WHERE she got that magic cat elixir? Hmmmm….
Now that you mention it, I had not. Admittedly, because of the genre, people can become supers somewhat easily. I am not ruling it out, but I’m leaning against Morgan making it herself, or devising it herself anway. She’s got the general smarts for it, it just doesn’t seem like she applied them to that degree in that direction. (This is aside from her stating that there is none left. If she could, but didn’t want to make anymore, that statement still fits).
I like Simon and am largely okay with what (we know) he’s done so far. I just hope he doesn’t slip the elixir on her unawares. That comes off to rapey for me and that’s not a line I see him (or want to see him anyway crossing). Even if it “only” lowers her inhibitions or let’s her wild side out, that’s exactly what you can say about alcohol.

Whew! I finally finished reading “Bad for Business!” This is one of my favorite series, and I really hope we get to read many more Seasons as time goes by. I missed the first Kickstarter, but will be on the lookout for future chances to support the cause. Also: thanks again for the Metamorpho sketch, Bill!
