Does Simon have any degrees in business and such? If so, I wanna check them out to see if they’re legit and not something he got from the local Kinkos/FedEx Office.

… because she has some underhand plan brewing (hence the spell book), details of which are yet to be disclosed. There is an overarching plot, remember? Sometimes I don’t 🙂

I don’t know on this one… ‘pay more attention to me’ doesn’t have to be taken to it’s outright extreme, nor does ‘get along’ have to be ‘in the world’s greatest bromance’. Sure, Brody he screwed himself on, but the other two are more ‘Malicious Genie’ level than ‘exact wording’…
actually, the problem here is exact wording. he never told them when to stop doing these things, so they’re compelled to keep doing them – so morgan is compelled to keep paying attention to him at the cost of everything else, and mali/bravado are compelled to “just be freinds” for all time
Yeah, pretty much what Beige said. That’s why spells can be a tricky thing, and wording is very important — which is what Parker knew on page 5. ; )

I’m intrigued to find out how he’s going to get out of this ‘fine print.’ I guess Parker, with her superior knowledge of such things, will be able to fix it in exchange for his silence about the book.
she can already claim that he is the one who told her get the book,
she is the receptionist/secretary/girl for everything (ok sounds wrong…)
and he has the book and he had used it
