I just realised this – are you referencing X-men “What if” #144 when you named Bravado & Malefactor?

Yes, you are. The X-men (and other assorted heroes & villains) are stuck in another dimension and 25 years later they have teenage kids. Bravado is the son of Thor and Enchantress and Malefactor is his half-brother (the son of Dr. Doom). They don’t exactly see eye to eye.
That’s funny. I just came up with the name “Bravado” and thought it was perfect for a blustery super-hero. For Malefactor, I just wanted a “real” name that sounded sinister, like Victor Von Doom as Dr. Doom. That “What If?” thing is a pretty freaky coincidence!
