I thought so too, and was relieved he wasn’t in a G-string or naked. No need to feel old, Watchmen is a timeless classic in my book.
Yeah, this sounds familiar. I like Grant Morrison’s work but he really does come up with some confusing ideas. I mean, just look at FINAL CRISIS. I still have NO FREAKING IDEA what was going on there. I’ve read the book a series times, I’ve had people try to explain things to me, but over all it makes sense in so many places.
And of course the hardcore fans who don’t understand it either always say “Don’t ask questions” to save face. That or “Clearly you didn’t read it right.”
Then again I haven’t gotten around to reading Final Crisis either. But thanks for the passwords Red Robin. 😀

He’s that, and every other character who’s been re-imagined as a head-trippy or deconstructionist version of their former selves. In many ways, Moore’s reimagining of the Charlton heroes as Watchmen…. that was the precursor to VERTIGO, Supreme, The Boys, Irredeemable et al.
Funny how comic fans are…I immediately referenced Captain Atom rather than any DC hero.
