This page is so great on so many levels… from the TV Set shaped panels, to all the metatextual references to the “Trust US” hubris of Simon (or insert Marvel/DC). Great job Bill!
Ha! Thanks, Bob! I try and put several things on the page. I know people are disappointed about the comic being “only once a week”, but I DO try and give a lot to each page, not just one “gag.”
As always, fantastic comic 😀 I joined you around halfway through the Coffee Breaks I think and I’ve been coming back every Thursday ever since. Today, after reading this comic for about the 4th time, I realised that the journalist in the third panel reminds of an Irish comedian called Ed Byrne. Have you ever heard of him?

Yet another great episode.
How Do you always cleverly slip those references in there?
Trade secret. ; )
