“Bad For Business” p21
Well, then! Demonatrix DOES have a point!
I always knew marketing agencies were corrupting influences. ; )
I’m just glad Parker got her fire back! The girl doesn’t take much guff.
And then there’s Parker’s brother, who we’ve seen a bit in the past in desk photos and via flashback. Sounds like the entire Del Muerto family is a bit of trouble, eh?
And oh, I didn’t get to call them out, but the hellhounds are named Sodom and Gomorrah.
Like mother like daughter…Kinda.
Moms NEVER admit when they’re wrong.
and they are always right…. Kinda. ; )
Clever naming of the hounds–though Burns and Cinders would have been a funny play on two notable Springfielders.
ha! cute idea!
Now you’re just making a fuel of yourself, Pic.
Nice wrap up! Though I have to wonder if Demonatrix left her spell book behind… and if so, on purpose..?
“More like mother…” Ouch. When Demonatrix gets the last word, she does it right.
If you’re out to win in a fight, you can’t always do it by Marquis of Queensbury rules. She may have used dark-side tools, but she didn’t use them against the good guys; she used them minimally and pretty much responsibly, and I suspect she won’t keep using them once she no longer needs to. Of course,

Added bonus, the Hero Business now has incentive to not anger Parker.
It’s a Win Win… for Parker…. ; )
My thoughts? This shouldn’t slow Parker down. Heck, Parker needs to own her underhandedness, come to terms with it… then use those prodigious powers of being twisty like a corkscrew for good.
Dressing like Demonatrix squarely optional, of course.
To be clear, Prim stone is the younger brother?
And I’m still the Parker camp. Also betrayal? Not of HB really. Of mom maybe, but Demon atria would be stretching it if she used that as her point.
No, Primstone is not Parker’s brother. Primstone is Demonatrix’s #1 assistant. I;d wager we’ll meet Parker’s brother tho, don’tyathink?
And perhaps Parker didn’t wholesale betray the Biz, but she wasn’t exactly an angel either. Can’t make things TOO easy on our characters, no can we? ; )
Ah, I didn’t think “desk photos” referred to the previous “in the past” link. My mistake.
