“Frenemy Mine” p16
I always thought teenage ย super-hero groups got along too well. We all remember what high school was REALLY like, right?

Well, this battle didn’t last long. Maybe Demonatrix will consider employing Wallflower once this is over.
Looks like Wallflower’s master plan has wilted into oblivion.
Seems like kind of a hollow victory to me. Just the manipulative mean girls ganging up again on the quiet girl. At least Wallflower’s rage was understandable, unlike some villains who are just greedy or power hungry.
Well, Wallflower DID attack the guests with her plant monster, which has ratcheted up her threat level. And while Wallflower is certainly sympathetic in some respects, keep in mind we saw HER version of the past… this week, we learn that Wallflower has done her share of manipulations in the past as well. And as Wallflower herself pointed out last week, the girls have colored the events of the past with their own points of view, in a “Rashomon” meets “Facts of Life” sort of way. ; )
Even the usually level-headed Morgan for caught up in the rivalries of the past, which is a natural human reaction. Sometimes something will trigger a past indiscretion, and those feelings come bubbling up like it happened yesterday.
“The Hero Business” is a super-hero sit-com at the basic level, but it was always my intention to explore slightly deeper sides of the characters, too, along with the laughs. NONE of the main characters are one-note… they don’t always make the right decisions, and some of them often make the wrong ones. I think you’ll see how it holds together once we’re done (in 4-5 pages!) ๐
I don’t like to get too explain-y about story bits… I like readers to draw their own conclusions…. so I’ll stop now. ๐
Why people honestly believe their version of events:

How does one follow “It’s time to Uproot Her plans” with “You’re going down”? That’s like Superhero Quips 101!
LOL, I hope the press didn’t catch that on video! Two demerits for Glamazon! — Hey, are you trying to stir up ANOTHER rivalry between those two?!?! ; )
FURBALL Special?!? Ouch! Do the references never stop? ๐
Oh, and Picassamia? Weed appreciate it if you would lay off the puns. };)
Aw, shucks! You don’t need to be so corny about it.
You know you’re lichen it.
Well, now that’s just dandy(lion).
I like how you both rose to the occasion.
Well, let’s face it, teenagers could use a representation in media of people in their age group who are capable of getting along together without much drama.
And I love the vein in Wallflower’s neck.
I take it that we are not going to discuss that suspicious wand that Glamazon kicked out of Wallflowers hand. . . ? It looks rather. . . Demonic.
It looks like it could be a vial with a ‘cat’ top or stopper to it, as well – as in, the container used to spike Morgan’s drink. But your suggestion seems plausible, as well.
