“Frenemy Mine” p19
A few back-handed compliments among frenemies, providing a little coda to our tale. PLUS: hints at the origin of Hex Kitten!
For Thanksgiving week, The Hero Business is “out of pocket,” but we’ll return to finish up the fourth storyline the week following.
Then we’ve got some fun holiday coffee breaks and the excitement of our second Temp Month, featuring some fantastic guest artists!
Awwwww! ^__^
Hope we get to see more Hex Kitten down the road in one way or another. It was great to see this side of Morgan we barely knew.
Have a happy Thanksgiving, Bill.
Thanks — and, we will! 😀
If you weren’t such an amazing artist you would have made a heck of a sitcom writer 😀
So glad that you added great depth to two one-dimensional characters and left plenty of room for expansion for future plots!
I agree! I still think that there are influences of not only superhero parodies like The Tick and Freakazoid, but also sitcoms like “Just Shoot Me”.
Thanks, guys! and YES. All those are influences to some degree. I also LOVE smart sit-coms like JUST SHOOT ME, CHEERS, NEWSRADIO, SPORTS NIGHT and 30 ROCK.
For some reason, the elixir looks like a magic Pez dispenser to me. Hand them out on Halloween and watch kids change into various super-powered animal alter-egos!
And also: Daawww!
Yes. That elixir was designed to be recognizable, with the cat head and all…
Looking forward to Simon’s arc! Isn’t that next?
Do we get an origin tale of our favorite marketing director?
Simon is next up! And we will learn more about him…
Wait..So Glamazon ISN’T a self-absorbed narcissist?
Note Morgan’s disclaimer….”TOTAL self-absorbed narcissist.” As opposed to a part-time self-absorbed narcissist. ; )
