Simon Sayeth Cover
Well, Temp Month has concluded. I’m always delighted and amazed at the variety of entries. Thanks to all my talented friends and cohorts for lending their creative energies to the Hero Business!
This week, we’re looking at the cover to the fifth Hero Business collection “Simon Sayeth”, on sale soon!
As usual, I do an homage to a famous comic book cover. For this issue, I was inspired by New Mutants #87, by Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane:
I know Liefeld gets a lot of flack, but that is one dynamic cover! There was also another cover that I almost used. (Who knows, it may pop up as a variant cover)
While Temp Month has been raging on, I’ve been working on a couple of fun Hero Business related projects! One, I aim to share within a couple of weeks. Stay tuned, Heroites!

Love that you got Deus Ex in the pricing bug
He honestly doesn’t deserve as much as he gets.
Nothing wrong with having a unique style, and it’s hardly his fault that everyone in the comic industry collectively lost their minds and tried to mimic him for so long.
I bet Simon can hit more targets at once with his weapon than Cable can.
Awesome cover! Captures the spirit of the original Liefeld/McFarlane piece! This was one of the best HB storylines to date and the cover really tells a great story!
I can’t wait to see what happens next for the Hero Business, it will be interesting seeing the look on everyone’s face at the fact that Parker is really Demonatrix’s daughter
I forget which Piers Anthony novel it’s in (I read it in 1986), but in a world with technology and magic mixed together, they were using computers to run spells so there’d never be any mistakes. Wonder if Parker read it at some point.
